Spring is officially here and that means longer days, warmer weather, flowers in bloom, and a chance to start fresh after a long winter. Here in Harborfields, spring marks a new sports season, an exciting calendar full of events, and countless opportunities to learn and grow.
It gives me great pleasure to be able to share with you each week the outstanding work of our students and staff. Thank you for taking the time to read my weekly update!
Bravo! OMS Theatre Presents High School Musical Jr.
This past Friday and Saturday, our amazing middle school students put on two amazing performances of High School Musical Jr. A big shoutout to the show’s director, Ms. DaSilva, and her team (Ms. Drzewiecki, Ms. Lanigan, Mr. Temps, Mr. Taveras, Mr. Antonelli, Mr. Rinaldi, Ms. Rae, Ms. Fisher, Ms. Stark, and Ms. Miller) for supporting our students over the past several weeks. Congratulations to the cast and crew!

From Harborfields To The NHL
Former Harborfields student, Matt Coronato, recently returned to New York as a star player for the Calgary Flames to take on the NY Rangers at Madison Square Garden. On hand to cheer Matt on was his third-grade teacher from his days at Thomas J. Lahey Elementary, Ms. Sonia Armstrong!

Spring may have just started, but summer is already on our minds. Registration is officially open for the HACEF & Booster Club Camps.


2025-2026 School Budget Development Process
The annual school budget development process for the 2025-2026 school year is well underway. The Third Budget Presentation in this process was provided during this past Wednesday’s Regular Board of Education meeting. As always, we encourage residents to stay engaged in this process by attending meetings, reviewing budget information posted on our website, and contacting the district with any questions or feedback.
