Reminder: Second-Grade Field Day – Monday, June 2

Field Day for our second-grade students is scheduled for Monday, June 2, at Harborfields High School. In the event of inclement weather, the rain date will be Tuesday, June 3. 

Please make sure your child comes to school wearing sneakers and their class shirt or class color. We also ask that you send your child with a packed lunch and apply sunscreen at home before school.

 Families are invited to attend and cheer on the students as they participate in the exciting field day stations! All spectators must sit in the home side bleachers of the football field. Only designated parent representatives with official badges will be permitted on the field. All other family members are kindly asked to remain in the bleachers.

 Arrival & Schedule Details:

• We suggest arriving by 9:45 AM to ensure you have time to sign in and be seated before the Opening Ceremony, which begins at 10:15 AM. 
• Following the ceremony, students will rotate through field day stations until 12:45 PM.
• At that time, families will wave goodbye to the students from the bleachers and safely exit the school grounds.
•  Please note: No students may be signed out early or taken home from field day. All students will return to Washington Drive Primary School with their class.

 Parking & Visitor Info:

• Please park in one of the High School parking lots only.
• Van Cott Nursery is not available for parking.
• All visitors must bring a valid ID to sign in and receive a visitor sticker before entering the bleachers.
• For safety and space, we kindly ask that only two spectators per family attend.
