🎉 Can You Believe It?! The Final Week of School Is Here! 🎉
The halls are buzzing with excitement, and it's hard to believe we’ve reached the last week of an incredible year at Washington Drive! 🌪️ From first-day jitters to final-day hugs, we’ve shared so many magical moments together.
As we wrap up, here are a few important reminders to help you prepare:

📆 Thursday, June 27
  • Early Dismissal: School ends at 12:00 p.m.
  • Pick-Ups: Called at 11:40 a.m.
  • Bus Dismissal: Begins at 11:45 a.m.
  • A ParentSquare message will be sent once all buses have left the building.
  • Lunch will not be served. Please send your child with a healthy snack.
📆 Friday, June 28 – Last Day of School!
  • Dismissal at 10:45 a.m.
  • Pickups will start at 10:20 a.m.
  • No early pick-ups will be permitted, as it’s a short day and we want students to enjoy their final time together.

📚 “Delay is the Way” – Event Recap
The Delay is the Way Parent Session on May 29th was a success! It was inspiring to see our Harborfields community come together around such an important topic.

☀️ Upcoming Heat Wave – Staying Cool at WDPS
As temperatures rise, please know we’re taking steps to keep everyone cool and safe:
  • Outdoor activities will be modified or moved indoors.
  • Indoor recess will be held throughout the heat wave.
  • Teachers will share updates on rescheduled or modified end-of-year parties.
    👕 Please dress your child in cool, comfortable clothing and send them with a water bottle each day!
🧢 WDPS Lost and Found – Final Call!
Our Lost and Found is overflowing! Please have your child check for any missing sweatshirts, jackets, or water bottles before the last day. Everything left behind will be donated.
