π Washington Drive Primary School π π βTwas the Night Before School Starts (Washington Drive Edition) βTwas the night before school starts, and all through the halls, Not a sound could be heard in our ππ€ green-and-white walls. The classrooms were ready, the books lined with care, In hopes that our students soon would be there. πβοΈ The teachers were nestled all snug at their desks, With dreams of new lessons and plans for success. π And Mrs. McNally, with Ms. Neira close by, Prepared for Tornadoes to soar and to fly. πͺοΈπ«
When out on the playground there rose such a clatter, The swings and the track made the laughter grow fatter! πΆπββοΈ The parking was ready, the spaces brand new, All waiting for families, excited for you. ππ
To art and to music! π¨π΅ To library too! π To Makerspace, computers, P.E. β woo-hoo! π₯οΈβ½ With pencils and crayons, the year starts just right, At Washington Drive, where we shine big and bright. β¨
The WOWs will be given for kindness each day, For respect and responsibility shown in your way. ππ€ Our Tornadoes will twirl with great pride in their might, In Harborfieldsβ spirit of green and of white. ππ€
So sharpen your pencils, come ready to play, βοΈπ Your teachers canβt wait for the very first day. With laughter and learning, adventureβs in sight β Happy school year to all, and to all a good night! πβ¨
π We canβt wait to see you tomorrow! With love & enthusiasm, Mrs. McNally & Mrs. Neira πͺοΈ
