An Update from Washington Drive! 📚✨
We have been loving PARP Week (Pick A Reading Partner) here at Washington Drive! Our students have been turning in their reading boards, and we are amazed by just how much reading has been happening — truly impressive!
Right now, we are busy tallying up the total number of reading hours, and the big moment is almost here. On Tuesday morning, we will announce whether our students have reached (or even surpassed!) 1,000 hours of reading to complete the Principal’s Challenge.
The students have already cast their votes… and the results are in! If the 1,000-hour goal is reached, students will be treated to a very special sight — Mrs. McNally and Mrs. Neira racing in inflatable costumes!
🎈🏁 Will it happen? Only Tuesday will tell!
We hope you all enjoy Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday. Wishing you a wonderful day spent with family and friends as we reflect, relax, and recharge. 💚
